CALIBURN VENTURE ADVISORS
The founders of Caliburn wanted a logo which visually depicted their company’s namesake. Bold strokes and contrasting darks and lights create a dramatic icon which conveys the strength of the Caliburn name. B-Line was able to deliver a corporate identity that was strong, visual and dramatic all in one.
Excentia, a provider of training courses for law firms, tasked B-Line to develop their name and logo. The name was derived from Latin terms and their logo combines a traditional serif font with a contemporary swoosh. The Excentia corporate identity perfectly matched their business with the help of the B-Line team.
KAUFMAN SKIN THERAPY
Kaufman Skin Therapy wanted their logo to convey comfort, nature and femininity. B-Line met these needs by using multiple curves in the icon, soft colors and a classic nature image; the single leaf.
Squeakies, a provider of innovative children’s shoes, tasked B-Line with their branding needs. B-Line developed an eye-catching and playful logo that was a perfect match for the company’s original product line.
V&L International sought a conservative logo design which conveyed confidence and stability. The flowing “V&L” work in conjunction with the structured box and dividing line to meet V&L’s logo design goals.
RFP cover design. BSMG needed a design which conveyed “monetary trade issues”. A collage was created which incorporated foreign currencies a world map and a trade ship. The conservative layout complimented the detailed collage.
CHARACTERISTICS OF LARGE PUBLIC EDUCATION PENSION PLANS (CLPEPP)
NEA wanted to automate the collection and publishing of Pension Plan data. B-Line helped NEA publish an informative publication where the majority of effort was spent on design and layout instead of data entry and validation.
BSMG WORLDWIDE (2nd design)
RFP cover design. BSMG needed a design which conveyed “children and chemicals”, but in a “positive light”. Quite a challenge, but one that was met using warm color tones and subtle chemical imagery in a collage dominated by a smiling child.
FRANKLIN, BILLINGS & RAMSEY (FBR)
Research Report Cover Design. FBR needed a cover design which conveyed “The Internet’s Investing Potential” to their investors. A collage which integrated data bytes and money falling from the sky portrayed the reports results.
CD packaging and usage instructions. Adhering to Teligents prominent use of red in their branding, a 2 color design was created using juxtaposed imagery and contemporary fonts. The clean and structured looked worked will with their brand.
UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA HILLEL (NC HILLEL)
Marketing Collateral. NC Hillel wanted to raise awareness of their services and projects among UNC students. A brochure, newsletter and postcards were designed with students in mind using bold colors and contemporary illustrations.
