- Creative Design
- web based development on the .Net framework (ASP.Net with C# or VB.Net)
- ColdFusion application development with dynamic database driven web sites

- Extensive experience working on Mac and PC platforms

The .NET Developer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining web applications/solutions. The candidate should be familiar with ASP.NET, C#, and VB.NET with basic understanding of ANSI, standard back-end SQL and T-SQL Server environment. The developer will work closely with clients and team members in the technical architecture and implementation of customer projects.
Developer will assist in the execution of object-oriented analysis and design activities and the implementation of the object and data model. Assist an on-site team that develop new and maintain, troubleshoot and enhance operational client/server and web-based applications. Core technologies used include: MS SQL Server 2005, VB.Net, ASP.Net, and XML. Experience shall encompass all phases and components of the development lifecycle, to include requirements elicitation, detailed design, and quality assurance measures.

- Provide help desk support and maintain software applications in production, development, and test environments.
- Troubleshoot software and hardware problems and coordinate and work with other team members.

The Developer is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining web applications/ solutions. Core Functions
- 2+ years software development experience in a ColdFusion 7 or 8.0 MX environment
- Experience with frameworks, design patterns and OOP
- Extensive knowledge of ColdFusion Components (CFC's)
- Experience with FLEX 3
- SQL and stored procedure development
- Experience working with XML, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience multiple programming languages (Actionscript,.NET)
- Preferably background in other object oriented programming languages (J2EE, .NET, Actionscript)
Duties and Job Functions
- Analyze customer enhancement requests and provide detailed design and implementation guidelines, alternative approaches, and time/cost development estimates
- Develop, test, and release web pages, stored procedures, style sheets, and other coding structures as detailed by the enhancement request specifications
- Provide assistance to the client implementation teams as necessary
- Participate in team design sessions and code reviews
- Create required reference material and technical documentation as needed. Provide technical training.
- Insure product quality by performing extensive unit and functional testing during all phases of the development cycle
- Maintain structured product releases by following team coding standards and release guidelines
- Perform application-consulting services as required to meet project goals and maintain customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Must be an expert in ASP.NET/C#/VB (minimum of 4 years)
- Strong multi-tiered application development framework experience
- Experience programming capabilities of .NET version 3.5 and AJAX
- Expert skills in 2005/2008 T-SQL and stored procedures
- High traffic web site experience with scalable design
- Excellent Web Services, XML and XSLT experience
- Comprehensive experience creating common components, patterns, services, and frameworks
- Excellent problem solving skills and an attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, especially written communications
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from all functional areas.
- Ability to follow structured release processes and team coding standards.
Preferred
- Experience with Flash Builder/ActionScript 4.0
- Experience with WebORB
- Experience with Quality Assurance and Testing procedures
- Experience with Visual SourceSafe or other source code control systems.
- Extensive knowledge of networking, systems, and web application concepts and implementations.
- Previous training and/or application consulting experience in the following:

B-Line Express is looking for a Software Quality Assurance Engineer who is a self motivator, team player, and willing to learn and grow with the position. Job location is Washington DC. Metro accessible. Must be US citizen to apply.
The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for verification of functions and requirements of the organization’s software products, which are developed using the latest technologies as well as some industry standards.
Principal Duties:
- Write, review and implement test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, performance and regression testing.
- Execute tests that can be white box, gray box, or black box in nature.
- Develop automated scripts or other code to assist in test case execution.
- Create/modify data required for testing.
- Identify, evaluate and record software defects.
- Estimate task durations and schedules.
Ideal candidate must have the following:
- 3 years experience using Rational’s Suite of Automated Tools (Robot, Test Manager, Functional Tester, Performance Tester, Clear Quest & Requisite Pro) or similar.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, responsible, team player.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical ability.
- Able to work on complex quality assurance tasks where a variety of factors may impact the results.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Familiar with Agile Methodologies.
